If you are planning to make a physical product, then the choice of materials could be the difference in success and a smoother production process, or failure because it doesn&#x27;t meet customer needs, cost or durability. Ex. not all plastics are the same.Material selection is one of the key steps in designing a physical product for manufacturing. The material choice impacts the type of manufacturing and production processes available, how subsystems can interconnect, and, of course, price, applicability, and durability.Materials to be subjected to heat and cold, chemicals and harsh environments, may even limit possibilities.Medical device considerations, biomaterials and composites, molded parts and consumer products, subsystem connections, harsh environment considerations, additive manufacturing use cases and moreOn this panel, we have experts in material selection including plastics, polymers, metals and coatings. Meters run in 2 hour blocks until 6pm so you should be safe at a meter.Take Lowell Connector to exit 5B and in about 1 mile, you&#x27;ll be able to make your way over to Canal or Dutton St.
