Daily drop in half-term hands-on engineering and material science camp. Come and design, build and problem-solve, while having fun!
This is a hands-on engineering and materials science course where students investigate how material properties—including strength, flexibility, durability, texture, and methods of joining—affect the performance of designed objects. Learners follow a design–make–evaluate cycle, beginning with a clearly identified functional need rather than decoration. Through guided inquiry, students select materials based on their physical properties, test structural connections, and refine form through iterative prototyping.
