This Mat Pilates Teacher Training Weekend Intensive is designed for already certified instructors who want to deepen their understanding of movement mechanics, core integration, and intelligent programming through the Pilates method. Led by Alix Gold, a Comprehensive Master Pilates Instructor, this training goes beyond choreography and into the why behind the movement, giving you the tools to teach with greater precision, confidence, and impact.
This is about becoming a more skilled, intentional, and in-demand instructor!

Who This Training Is For

This training is ideal for:

• Barre instructors looking to deepen core work and alignment
• Yoga teachers wanting to build strength-based programming
• Personal trainers seeking smarter, more efficient movement strategies
• Fitness professionals ready to elevate their teaching and expand their offering

Prerequisite:
Participants must hold a current fitness certification (e.g., Barre, Yoga, Personal Training, Group Fitness, etc.)

What You’ll Gain

By the end of this training, you will:

• Understand and confidently apply the 6 core Pilates principles
• Learn how to teach foundational Mat Pilates exercises with precision and purpose
• Develop a deeper understanding of core stability and functional movement
• Be able to identify and correct common movement compensations
• Gain the ability to program across the three planes of motion
• Learn how to effectively cue, layer, and progress exercises
• Understand key differences between Pilates, Barre, and Yoga
• Confidently modify exercises for special populations
• Build a structured, intelligent Pilates class that flows with intention
• Enhance your reputation as a highly skilled, detail-oriented instructor

Training Format

• Duration: 10 hours (Weekend Intensive)
• Format: Combination of theory, movement, and teaching practice
• Includes: Instructor manual, exercise library, and class templates
• Assessment: Short teaching demonstration

Certification

Upon successful completion, participants will receive a Mat Pilates Instructor Training Certificate
