Join Manuela and Lior Lev Sercarz, lauded chef-owner of New York City’s premier spice atelier La Boîte, to celebrate the launch of his fourth cookbook, Mastering Spice: Recipes and Techniques to Transform Your Everyday Cooking.
Mastering Spice features over 250 recipes showcasing how spices change the way one makes every meal. Each section begins with a master recipe that highlights a key cooking technique and a specific combination of spices. Lior then explains how to create four or five entirely new dishes by using the same technique and simply swapping in alternate spices and complementary ingredients. Lior is often considered the authority who leading chefs turn to when they are in need of the highest quality bespoke spice blends.
Chef Lior Lev Sercarz will lead a discussion and celebrate the unique book. The ideas shared in conversation will then be showcased over a family-style collaborative meal by Sercraz and Manuela's Chef Kris Tominaga.
Tickets to this event are $100. Price includes a specialty crafted welcome cocktail, light bites, conversation w/ Chef Lior, a three-course meal with wine pairings, and a signed copy of the Mastering Spice cookbook.
