This is the first in a series of Masterclasses designed to help business owners and senior professionals grow their businesses.

Business is half task, half people. Presuming that you’re great at your task, this training focusses on learning trust-development skills which will take you from Passive Brief Recipient to Collaborative Brief Generator, working closely with your client to further their business and their careers.

Social Scientist Amy Cuddy states that in order to make a positive impact you have to be trusted before you impress. When you are trusted, you have access to conversation and information you didn’t have before. You become not just someone who is good at their job, but someone who feels seamless to work with and always on their side – the first choice when new opportunities arise.

DiSC profiling to understand your style of communication and the effect it has on others.

  • Understand the other key communication styles

  • ‘How to Spot’ key style in your clients

  • Workshopping how to respond in all forms in which you communicate, from what to say in the lift to how to phrase presentations, from language to layout, to body-language, dress and more.

  • Practicing adapting your behaviour in different situations for different styles

NB: DiSC helps us celebrate difference. There are not good or bad profiles, you are not expected to change or be someone you are not. DiSC helps us understand what we need from others and what others need from us. That helps us be in tune with our client’s needs and meet them more easily.The workshop will require everyone to reveal where they are on the DiSC map so we can discuss how we like to work and learn from each other. There is no need to reveal the detail in your report. There is no need to reveal any details about your clients, your IP or how you work. Sara is high I and D, moderate S and low C.

OUTPUTS/PREPARATION

Prior to the event you will be sent and need to complete a DiSC questionnaire. You will receive the personalised report 24 hours before the event and will need to bring it with you. The learning from this report will transform how you build relationships in all aspects of your life, smoothing out the friction and enabling progress.
