Join Lori Belilove & The Isadora Duncan Dance Company for two hours of Duncan Technique and Repertory in this open level class!

Grab your yoga mat and strap on your sandals (we recommend dance sneakers) for a Duncan technique class with urban Chelsea vibes in our pop-up gallery space dedicated to the Life and Art of Isadora Duncan and Lori Belilove &amp; The Isadora Duncan Dance Company. Never tried Duncan dance before? Or, regular participant in our classes at the McBurney YMCA or at our studio location? Either way, all levels of dancers are warmly welcome to join us for two hours delving deeply into the heart-lifting, body grounding exercises of a Duncan class and to learn some Duncan repertory. Required items you will need to bring: Shoes with rubber soles (due to our pop-up space not having a floor suitable for barefoot dancing) and a yoga mat for floor work. Optional items: If you are the owner of a Duncan dance tunic, feel free to wear it and combine your silk with your sneakers! Silk scarves will be provided.Please note, dancers under age 14 will require a parent or guardian to also attend the class.
