The participants, followed and advised by our collaborators, can choose from 60 models of handmade papier-maché masks and paint the mask by your own with acrilic colors. At the end of the work, the participants can take away the decorated mask with them.
La Bauta is one of the few craft workshops still in Venice from 25 years, where papier-mâché masks are produced every day, following the ancient tradition of “mascareri” that dates back to the early twelfth century.
Our Atelier is open daily from 10:30 to 17:30
