Join author and storyteller, Lynn Rymarz, as she steps back in time to tell the story of Mary Pickersgill

Hear the amazing story of how this Baltimore flag maker sewed the flag which flew over Fort McHenry during the Battle of Baltimore against the British in September of 1814. Her flag inspired Francis Scott Key to write the words to a poem which has become our National Anthem. Lynn will share historical photographs from this time in our nation's history.

Lynn has been performing historical portrayals of women since 2005. As an author and storyteller, she enjoys sharing little-known stories of women.

Tea and cucumber sandwiches will be served.
