The $50,000 Mars Eventing Showcase is a shortened version of a Three-Day Eventing (an Olympic discipline) competition, which is known as the triathlon of equestrian sport.

Horse and rider combinations must complete all three phases as a pair and they are scored on penalty points. Whomever finishes with the least amount of penalty points, wins the event.

The first phase is Dressage which is comparative to figure skating, where as the horse and riders all perform the same test and get scored on each movement.

The second phase is a show jumping round where horse and riders hope not to add any penalties to their score by jumping a perfectly clean round with no rails down and under the time allowed.

Lastly, is the cross-country phase! This is most exciting phase where as the horse and riders jump over banks, water complexes, and fixed obstacles that display their bold and confident partnership!

Various Hospitality ticket options are available for purchase and include breakfast, lunch and open bar.

The awards ceremony will follow immediately after the last phase of cross-country is completed and scores are calculated.
