<h2>Everyman was inspired to move beyond the boundaries of their theater space into their community by the upcoming presentation of <a href="http://www.everymantheatre.org/august-wilsons-radio-golf" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Radio Golf </a>- the story of a Black man running for Mayor of Pittsburgh and grappling with the complexity of gentrification in his home neighborhood.</h2><h2>It's holding a mirror up to the challenges Baltimore, and especially the Market Center/Bromo neighborhood, face today. </h2><p><em><strong></strong></em></p><p><em><strong>About Radio Golf:</strong></em></p><aside><em>Successful real estate developer Harmond Wilks is on a mission to become Pittsburgh’s first black mayor. He'll do whatever it takes to transform his childhood neighborhood from blighted to bustling. But when he learns the truth about his family’s legacy, he is forced to decide whether he will finish what he started or fight to preserve his community’s history. </em></aside><aside><em>This fast-paced, crackling conclusion to August Wilson’s unparalleled 10-play The American Century Cycle examining the African-American experience in the 20th century is “surprising, suspenseful and crowd-pleasing” (The New York Times), and draws striking parallels to the issues we still face today.</em></aside>

<h3>SCHEDULE:</h3><ul><li>2pm - 5pm: Cleanup</li><li>5pm - 6:30pm: Block Party</li><li>7pm: Everyman Theatre's performance of August Wilson's RADIO GOLF ($25 tickets - normally $55 - available to volunteers)</li></ul><h3><strong>Cleanup begins and ends at Lexington Market</strong> and will focus on the surrounding blocks in the neighborhood. </h3><h3><strong>Registration and post-cleanup Block Party</strong> will be at the Lexington Market parking lot (access on Eutaw Street)</h3><h3><strong>Free parking available in the Lexington Market Eutaw Street surface lot.</strong></h3>
