Join us at the Overlook Gallery for a mark-making event led by artists Anne Barnes and Caroline Sirois! Working with images from Botanical Shakespeare by Gerit Quealy and illustrated by Sumie Hasegawa Collins; Hildegard’s Healing Plants; and assemblages of live and dried plants; participants will draw, discuss and share interpretations of nature.

This program is part of rooted in ruins, an artist residency project by Caroline Sirois coordinated by Unbound Visual Arts and held at the Overlook Gallery. More information about the residency can be found on our website here.

UVA’s Overlook Gallery is located at 175 Washington St., Brighton, MA 02135 – inside of the large historically preserved church. The gallery is on the lower level of the building. There is an accessible ramp in the rear of the building and an elevator inside.
