Mark Hummel is a Grammy-nominated blues harmonica master, vocalist, producer, and bandleader whose career spans more than five decades. A driving force behind the modern West Coast blues sound, Hummel is known for his explosive harmonica style, soulful vocals, and deep respect for classic Chicago and West Coast traditions. Since forming the Blues Survivors in the early 1990s, he has toured internationally, sharing stages with blues legends and earning a reputation as one of the most dynamic live performers in the genre.

Beyond his work as a performer, Hummel is an acclaimed producer and collaborator, best known for his long-running Blues Harmonica Blowout albums, which bring together elite players from across the blues world. His recordings have received multiple Blues Music Award nominations and a Grammy nomination, cementing his status as a key figure in contemporary blues.
