Welcome to Maritime Ambassador Program!
This is a 5 day program hosted by the Port of Beaumont and Texas A&M AgriLife Extension as a way for youth to learn about the maritime industry.
The students will come away with a TPWD Boater’s Education Certificate and year’s paid tuition to be part of the Sea Scouts.
The participants will be on the water and at the Port learning about different careers in the maritime industry.
The Youth will build life size kayaks out of profile board and PVC pipe and have an opportunity to float the boats in an swimming pool.
