About this event

Colony Woodstock Presents: Marilyn Kirby and the Black Cat Band in the Garden!

Join us for an evening of live music on our outdoor main stage!

Featuring: Marilyn Kirby, John Putnam, Mike Visceglia, and Eric Parker

From the time Marilyn Kirby first picked up a Guitar at 13 -- a Kay her family bought with Green Stamps -- she has been writing material to suit her strong, beautiful voice and unique outlook on life. Her original songs are stories of Endurance and Ecstasy, Heat, and Betrayal, and other everyday routines. She is a fearless entertainer who engages her audience with a gutsy, gritty, and vibrant performance sure to have you dancing.

Her songwriting is strong and honest, telling stories that will move you to cry, dance, and everything in between, as she rocks to out to each song with her belting, beautiful voice.

Currently residing in Woodstock, NY, Marilyn Kirby performs as a solo artist, as well as with her trio and a full band. She also does music therapy with Alzheimers, mental illness, and dementia patients.

The Garden is open Fri-Sun afternoon for food and drinks!
