The Marietta Police Athletic League, Inc. (PAL) offers an Afterschool program during the school year from August 7, 2023 through May 26, 2024 for youth in Kindergarten through 12th grades. PAL Afterschool is held Monday through Friday from 3:00-6:00pm at the Hugh L. Grogan Jr Community Center, 510 Lawrence Street, Marietta, GA 30060. Daily activities include homework help, health & fitness, afternoon snack and sports & recreation.
In addition to PAL's Afterschool Program, PAL offers Afterhours Sports and Recreation programs which focus on a specific sport or recreation discipline. Currently Marietta PAL offers Martial Arts, Boxing & Dance classes, Monday through Thursday from 6:00-8:00pm, during the school year, from August 7, 2023 through May 26, 2024.
Dance (ages 5-7) is held Mondays and Wednesdays from 6-7pm
Dance (ages 8 and up) is held Mondays and Wednesdays from 7-8pm
Martial Arts is held Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5:30-6 pm for beginners
Martial Arts (white & yellow belts) is held Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6-7 pm
Martial Arts (green belts and above) is held Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6-8 pm for advanced students
Boxing (ages 12-17) is held Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6-8pm
