From the writer and artist with over 1 million Instagram followers comes My Inner Sky: On Embracing Day, Night, and All the Times in Between, a collection of essays and illustrations that parallel the phases of the sky—twilight, golden hour, night, and dawn—with all of the moments, be they small, momentous, heartbreaking, anxiety inducing, or healing, that life brings our way. Mari will be in conversation with Mary Laura Philpott, the author of the nationally bestselling memoir-in-essays I Miss You When I Blink, one of NPR’s Favorite Books of 2019. All buyers will be entered into a drawing to receive an original print from Mari Andrew.Program lasts about 1 hour. This program will include a conversation, a workshop with Andrew, and time for audience questions. To participate in the workshop, bring paper and something to write and draw with.
