  • Proceeds from this show will be used to benefit the restoration of the Coule Creek Barn. A 100-year-old barn in Elkader, serving as a community gathering space for culture, art, and live music!

Frequently asked questions

Can I bring my own food and drink?

Yes, you can bring your own food and drink. We do ask that you please pack it in and pack it out.

Do I need 4x4 to get to the venue?

No, a 4x4 or AWD vehicle is no longer needed. Carpooling is however still strongly recommended. Cabin Concerts shuttles to the event will not be available nor needed due to road improvements. Only return shuttles from floating from Motor Mill.

What's the vibe like here?

We are located on a remote section Turkey River Valley. We take pride in providing a family friendly event. There is a river, sand volleyball court and several miles of trails on site to explore. Please note that cell phone service is very spotty and there is no running water on site.

Are dogs allowed at this event?

Well behaved dogs on a leash are welcome. We ask that you please pick up after your pet. If your pet's personality becomes too big for the event we will ask you to restrain or kennel him/her up :) Any dog that attacks another will be asked to be restrained.

Are there refunds?

All sales are final with no refunds. In the event of gloomy weather, we will do our best to hold the event as scheduled or find a suitable indoor venue.

What's the deal with floating to the event beforehand?

Bring your own boat (kayak, canoe, paddleboard, tube, etc.) to float three miles of the Turkey River. The put in point is at Motor Mill and the take out is at Cabin Concerts where the music starts at 6:30pm on Saturday. Expect this float to take aprox 1.5-2hrs.
