Marché Privé, a curated luxury pop up market, is proud to announce its returning event celebrating Chicago's BIPOC creative entrepreneurs. Serving as the unofficial kickoff to the inaugural Chicago Fashion Week, Marché Privé will take place on Saturday, October 5th, from 10am to 3pm at The Promontory, located at 5311 S. Lake Park Ave., Chicago with a fashion forward theme. This daytime social and vendor fair aims to be acelebration for all, offering an opportunity to supportlocal BIPOC businesses. Admission is free for all guests,and the event will feature a vibrant atmosphere withmusic provided by DJ Tess and a bar open forpurchases."We are thrilled to introduce Marché Privé to theChicago community, providing a platform to showcasethe incredible talent and creativity of BIPOCentrepreneurs," said Maureen Crichlow, Hyde Parkresident, owner of the wellness brand MoonstoneChandlery® and creator of Marché Privé Chicago. “After vending at over a hundred local markets, I wanted tocreate an opportunity for others. I think it’s so importantfor BIPOC creative entrepreneurs to develop spaces toflourish in business.” Maureen is organizing the event with the help of fellowcreative entrepreneurs Peter Gaona, owner of theesteemed culturally conscious fashion brand ReformedSchool and Brittany Ramsey, owner of#Thisisthecookout, a purposeful statement fashionclothing line.“At #Thisisthecookout, a key part of our mission is tocelebrate and uplift Black people, our culture, ourhistory, and our advancement, while fosteringcommunity. We hope that an event like Marché Privéprovides opportunities to connect, promote andhighlight the immense creativity, vibrancy, and talent thecity of Chicago offers, in all BIPOC creators,” statedBrittany Ramsey.
