Mapping Feminist Cambridge: Inman Square Tour
Join us for a walk through Inman Square as we explore the feminist history of Cambridge 1970s-1990s! Tours capped at 30 people
Join the Cambridge Commission on the Status of Women for our three-part tour* series, Mapping Feminist Cambridge (MFC). Each tour covers one Cambridge neighborhood square, Central, Inman, or Harvard Square. Tours highlight the impact local individual's and organization's had on the feminist movement between 1970s-1990s; covering racial equity, reproductive health care and abortion access, women in film and print, healing for survivors, lesbian and bisexual visibility, political collectives, folk music, entrepreneurship, and more.
Following the Harvard Square tour** on October 24th, join us for a community reception at the Commonwealth Wine School at 7pm to celebrate those who contributed to MFC: researchers, the Advisory Committee, and those who shared their personal stories. Free and open to all! Registration required.
