Maple Block Meat Co. is a tribute to the craftsmanship of butchering, smoking and grilling meat, paying respect to the deep-rooted traditions of American barbecue.Located on Sepulveda Blvd between Venice and Washington Place in Culver City, Maple Block Meat Co. is a neighborhood restaurant and bar serving wood-smoked meats and great eating food. We specialize in authentic, wood-smoked meats prepared with the classic technique of smoking and incorporating a variety of subtle flavor profiles that we love. Guests can expect a familial casual atmosphere, friendly attentive service, seasonal menu based on the traditions of American barbecue and a bar featuring craft beers, interesting wines and handmade sodas.

Join us for the second annual Maple BlocktoberFest ALL YOU CAN EAT BBQ! In addition to LA's best barbecue, BlocktoberFest guests will enjoy a Biergarten featuring four craft breweries (<A HREF="http://www.moderntimesbeer.com/" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Modern Times</A>, <A HREF="https://boomtownbrew.com/" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Boomtown Brewery</A>, <A HREF="http://www.threeweavers.la/" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Three Weavers Brewing</A> and <A HREF="https://www.shiner.com/brewery" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Shiner Beer</A>), live music, <A HREF="https://mcconnells.com/" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">McConnell's Fine Ice Cream</A> truck, pumpkin decorating and a bounce house for the kids, cornhole, games and raffle for the adults! 
This year we partnered with an amazing non-profit, <A HREF="https://www.shareourstrength.org/" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Share Our Strength</A>. For every ticket sold, 5% of the ticket vale will be donated to Share Our Strengths’ <A HREF="https://www.nokidhungry.org/" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">No Kid Hungry</A> campaign. Additionally, Maple Block will donate 100% of raffle tickets sold to Share Our Strengths’ No Kid Hungry campaign.

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?
No, the event is all ages and kid-friendly!
 
What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?
Parking is limited, so we suggest you take Uber or Lyft to get to and from the event. There is a limited amount of street parking available.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
No, we will have a copy of your ticket purchase on our Eventbrite app. 
 
Is it ok if the name on my ticket or registration doesn't match the person who attends?
The name on the ticket must match the person who attends. If you are unable to attend and would like to sell or gift your ticket to someone, please contact <A HREF="mailto:jennifer@mapleblockmeat.com" TARGET="_blank" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">jennifer@mapleblockmeat.com</A> prior to the event.
