MAPin Design Thinking & STEM Boot Camp 

MAPinpromotes personal success for students at all levels. We help today’s students become tomorrow’s workforce through college awareness and preparation, career coaching and personality assessments, career readiness workshops, and work-based learning opportunities. MAPin delivers student centered wrap-around services, which is the foundation for academic, personal, and professional success.

Week long boot camp for high school students. Students will design solutions to real-world problems. Each team of high school students will be paired with a real client with a disability to design innovative solutions to the challenges they face day-to-day. Students will learn new skills like 3D printing, coding, and electronics throughout the week. On the final day each team will showcase their solutions to friends, family, and the general public, celebrating the innovations of our high school change makers.

Date: June 10-14, 9am-3:00pm each day.

Lunch and snacks provided.

All interested students and their parents/guardians must attend the mandatory orientation night on Thursday, May 9 at 6:30pm to complete the registration process.

This boot camp is offered in partnership with Invent Your Future and San Jose City College.
