About this event

In this 90 minute class you will see what, who, and why you need to know why you and your neighbors can help one another complete these 9 steps in the first crucial 60 minutes.

The more your family and neighbors are ready the easier and quicker you can get more help if needed. In this class you will learn about the 9 steps to take together.

Remember that disasters can be caused by not only by earthquakes but also by common occurrences such as

power outages,

fire,

and water main breaks.

When neighbors know each other and the equipment and skills they can provide, together you can be more self-sufficient when the Fire Department and other First Responders are overwhelmed.

Let it begin with you.

This is an interactive session that usually takes about 90 minutes. You will receive a booklet and a desire to connect with those around you to get organized.

There are also possibilities of Zoom classes or in person with JUST your neighbors, if you would prefer. Please contact suebrown21@yahoo.com for further details or if you would like to set up another day and time. You will feel more confident in knowing the basics are covered, and you and your family and neighbors can be self-reliant if necessary and account for each other.

T his session is followed by MYN 2 getting everything ready to meet your neighbors..

Then MYN3 is the meeting with neighbors .
