<h1>MAP THE SYSTEM @UNC </h1><h1> Pop in anytime from 3:00-4:30pm. </h1><h3>Attend this information/working session to learn more about the competition, find a team or topic and mingle with mentors.</h3><h3>Registration Deadline is Jan 31. Free Pizza and Support :)</h3><p> Map the System is an Initiative of the Skoll Centre for Social Entrepreneurship partnering with educational institutions around the world. Students select a social, environmental, economic or health issue they care about in their local community.  No experience in Systems Thinking is necessary. All UNC students can get involved!  Apply now if you want to:</p><p>•	Develop systems level thinking</p><p>•	Formulate ways to visually map a complex system</p><p>•	Build research and presentation skills</p><p>•	Forge new connections with innovators and changemakers</p><p>•	Win prize money, brought to you by Innovate Carolina’s Dreamers Who Do Fund</p><p>•	Represent UNC Chapel Hill at the University of Oxford Virtual Global Finals and win cash prizes*</p><p></p><p>Map the System is best suited for :</p><p>•Those who have an existing passion for or lived experience of a particular social/environmental challenge and would like to investigate this problem fully to understand what sort of intervention in the system would be most effective. </p><p>•Those that are looking to have a high-impact career and want to understand where their unique skill set can be best applied to effect lasting change. </p><p>•Those who have an existing solution, product or business idea in mind, but would like to research the issue area thoroughly to understand what solutions have already been tried, and are willing to pivot their idea based on their findings. </p><p></p><p>*﻿Innovate Carolina can only provide funding awards to current UNC students. Individuals who are not enrolled at UNC may participate on a team, but will need to support their own travel if selected to attend the finals. </p><p></p>
