About this event

  • Event lasts 2 hours

Mantra Flow is a music meditation from the yoga tradition. Also known as kirtan, it is considered the most potent form of meditation in this day and age. Singing along with and dancing to these powerful transcendental sound vibrations washes away all fear and anxiety and helps us open our hearts, experience unconditional love and come fully into the present moment.

Mantra Flow is a fun, guided, full body meditation that meets you wherever you’re at. You can come chill out and relax in a pillow pile, or move your body and engage your voice, be in your own meditative space or dance with friends.

We’ll open our meditation with a guided breathing practice and a resonant mantra circle that takes you deep into a meditative space. Then, we’ll ride a wave of spiritual sound vibration as we sing along with and move to ancient mantras set to live, original dance music.

Open your heart, find your soul voice and dance with abandon as you get swept away by the healing vibrations and hypnotic rhythms of a spiritually inspired soundscape. By engaging our body, mind and heart in this purifying meditation, we can come fully into the present moment and discover the love and joy that is our eternal nature.

Beginners highly encouraged, all ages, voices, abilities and experiences welcome!

Parking: There is free parking on the streets and some parking around the church.
Accessibility: The venue is ADA accessible. There are many chairs available at the church for seating. If you aren’t comfortable sitting on the floor, please come on the earlier side to reserve a chair (you’re welcome to come as early as 6:30pm).
How to support: A $10-30 sliding scale suggested donation helps us cover our costs and is always deeply appreciated.

Frequently asked questions

What is Mantra Flow?

Mantra Flow is a unique fusion of breathwork, music meditation (kirtan), and movement — a guided, heart-opening experience where we sing, dance, and meditate to powerful ancient mantras set to live, original music.

Do I need to know how to sing or chant?

Not at all! No musical experience is needed. Everyone is welcome — whether you want to sing your heart out or just listen and let the sounds wash over you.

Is this a religious event?

Bring yourself, your open heart, and anything that helps you feel comfy! Suggestions include: • A yoga mat or cushion • Cozy layers or a blanket • Water bottle • Journal (optional, for reflections afterward)

Is this a religious event?

Nope. While rooted in the ancient yoga tradition of kirtan, Mantra Flow is a non-denominational, open-hearted practice focused on connection, presence, and emotional healing. All beliefs and backgrounds are welcome.

What should I bring?

Yoga asanas are not part of the program and yoga mats are not required, but you’re welcome to bring one if you feel inspired to move on your mat. We suggest bringing a water bottle and comfy layers that are easy to add or remove

Can I come if I just want to listen and relax?

Yes! Mantra Flow is a full-body experience that meets you where you’re at. You’re welcome to rest in a cozy pillow pile, sit in meditation, move gently, or dance freely. All participation levels are valid.

Is this family-friendly / are kids allowed?

Absolutely. All ages are welcome. Children who are able to engage respectfully with the space and community are encouraged to attend with a parent or guardian.

What time should I arrive?

Doors typically open 15 minutes before the event. We recommend arriving early to settle in, get comfy, and not miss the opening breathwork and mantra circle.

What’s the vibe like?

Warm, welcoming, and uplifting. It’s a safe space for self-expression, release, and soulful connection. Expect smiles, community, and lots of good vibrations.

Is this a good event for beginners?

Yes — especially for beginners! Whether you’ve never been to a kirtan or danced in meditation before, this is the perfect place to start. We’ll guide you every step of the way.

Will there be live music?

Yes! The entire experience is accompanied by live, original music composed specifically for this event, creating an immersive soundscape for deep meditation and joyful movement.
