Every Tuesday at 5pm EST - dive into the world of game creation with our engaging and educational "Roblox Game Design for Beginners" online class! This session is perfect for kids aged 8-14 who are enthusiastic about games and eager to learn how to construct their own in Roblox, a popular game platform and creation system.
In this 45-minute class, your child will:
- Explore the Basics of Roblox Studio: Learn to navigate the Roblox Studio interface, understand its tools and features, and get started with basic game-building concepts.
- Create Simple Game Elements: Discover how to design and create basic game components like terrains, characters, and simple objects.
- Introduction to Scripting: Get a sneak peek into the world of coding with a beginner-friendly introduction to Lua, the scripting language used in Roblox. Kids will learn how to create simple scripts that bring their game ideas to life.
- Interactive Learning and Teamwork: Participants will engage in hands-on activities and collaborate with peers in a virtual environment, fostering teamwork and creativity.
- Safety and Digital Citizenship: Learn about online safety and responsible gaming practices within the Roblox community.
