This morning class will teach participants the techniques, of grafting mango cuttings to root stock. The class will be taught by UF/IFAS Extension Lee County and Fruitscapes Llc and will show homeowners, hobbyists and professionals the best practices in mango grafting. This is a hands on learning experience where participants will get practical instruction that can be applied to manty tropical fruit trees. Topics for discussion will cover mango varieties, tools of the trade and best times of year to graft. This is a great class for any fruit tree enthusiast and will combine science based information with many years of professional experience in grafting. Participants will get a grafting knife and tape to take home and will be provided snacks and water. Please bring a hat sunscreen closed toed shoes and gloves.
