MAND Day at the Capitol 2015

Once a year MAND goes to the Capitol to advocate for legislative and public policy priorities with our elected State officials. Thursday March 19, 2015.

No experience? No problem!

The morning workshop will get you ready. Really! And you'll have a blast. More great news...our workshop "headliner" is former Secretary of State Mark Ritchie.

You will be emailed your pre-reading packet and more details about the day closer to the event.

Cost: $37 - includes box lunch and 5 CEUs; Students, DTRs, First year practicing RD/RDNs and Retired pay only $12. Box lunch note: There will be a variety of sandwich options including a vegetarian option. Let Ann know if you require other dietary modifications.

Space for 120 participants max.

The registration deadline is Monday March 2 Midnight. We need this lead time to schedule the afternoon visits with your legislators.

The morning workshop starts at 8 AM on Thursday March 19, 2015. If you are coming from a distance and running late, don't sweat it...we'll see you when we see you!

Your day ends after your legislator visits in the afternoon. We will try our best to get your visits scheduled early but plan to be available until 4.

Workshop is at the Capitol Ridge, Best Western (formerly the Kelly Inn) near the Capitol. Parking is free.
