Managing Student Behavior Ethically and Compassionately

With classroom disruptions at an all-time high and the need for emotional and academic support increasing every year, schools need to rethink how to create learning environments that are compassionate, firm, and fair.

This nuts and bolts workshop will help you:

  • Establish clear expectations with and for students.
  • Use data to track issues.
  • Implement restorative practices to build community,.
  • Design appropriate learning consequences for disruptors.

You will walk away with practical, concrete ideas for building an equitable, safe, and engaging school community.

This workshop is for teachers, teacher educators, deans, department and division heads, and anyone else who oversees academic achievement and student life.

We encourage you to register a group to allow for deeper discussion within your school.
