Managed Grazing Workshop

Snohomish Conservation District helps residents conserve and protect natural resources through education, technical assistance, and incentives to ensure a healthy environment and clean water.We are a political subdivision of state government with no regulatory authority. We have been working with farmers, city residents, rural and sub-urban landowners on a voluntary basis since 1941.SCD boundaries include most of Snohomish County and all of Camano Island.

Snohomish Conservation District and City of Marysville

Come and learn about managed grazing practices for Western Washington that will increase soil health, increase forage production, and benefit livestock as well as the ecological function of the land. We will also introduce the practice of Silvopasture, a multifunctional system of grazing incorporating livestock, forage, and crop trees (fruit, nuts, timber, or forage) on the same parcel of land.
Come to learn from three of Snohomish Conservation District's Farm Resource Planners - Bobbi Lindemulder, Carrie Brausieck and Michael Hipp.
