Making Atlatls

Learn to make one of humanity's oldest hunting tools!

Before guns and bows there was the atlatl, a simple tool that propelled humans from part of the food chain to the top of it. Join us as we help you make your very own atlatl and dart from sticks, antler, feathers, and glue. Arrowheads and Woolley mammoths not included.

This is a two day workshop. Session one is Wed, Jun 10 and session two is Wed, Jun 17.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

Jefferson Patterson Park and Museum reserves the right to cancel any program or event due to insufficient enrollment or extreme weather. If JPPM cancels an event, all registrants will be notified and all registration fees will be fully refunded.

If you need to withdraw for personal reasons, 10 days notice is required for a full refund.No refunds will be issued for no-shows or withdrawals within 10 days of the program.
