MakeYourSpace: Valentine Boxes

Fab@CIC is a public makerspace in Downtown Boston where people can connect, learn, and collaborate over a cup of coffee and a 3D printer. A collaboration between Render Coffee, the Fab Foundation and CIC, we're a digital fabrication café connecting makers to a global network.

You know the saying, the best gifts come in small boxes? This Valentine's Day, make it all about the little box that holds all your love!
Join Fab@CIC for our February installment of MakeYourSpace Monthly, where we'll show you how to create your own customized box using just a sheet of plywood, a laser cutter, and your imagination. This workshop will also demonstrate how to apply a living hinge to any project you'd like to make with curved sides. 
This workshop will use <A HREF="https://inkscape.org/release/inkscape-0.92.4/" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Inkscape</A>, a free design software. If possible, please bring a laptop with Inkscape downloaded. There are also a limited number of desktop computers available at the workshop.
