Makers Ball

Makers Paradise is a non profit organization dedicated to assisting artists and makers in the community.  The organization provides training and support to emerging artists.  Programs include training and support for disabled, youth and senior artists and makers. The art gallery and training program is located at 1790 Shattuck Ave, Berkeley, CA 94709.https://makersparadise.orgCollege of Alameda Fab Lab is a state of the art maker facility located at the College of Alameda.  Students and community members utilize a variety of equipment, tools and machinery to design and develop art and maker goods.  Training is provided on laser cutters, 3-D printers, CNC machines, heat presses and other machinery.  The Fab Lab staff provides support and assists with proto-types, design and development of maker products and art pieces.https://alameda.peralta.edu/fablab/

Makers Paradise and College of Alameda Fab Lab

A community engagement event presented by Makers Paradise and College of Alameda Fab Lab.  Live music, catered full course dinnner, silent auction, art exhibit, raffle prizes, awards ceremony and scholarships.  This event is a Costume Party with prizes.    
Bands include Blind to Reason, Hyperdrive Kittens, MOAWK featuring Viv Savage of This is Spinal Tap and Special Guest Prairie Prince of The Tubes.   
Benefit for art and maker training programs at Makers Paradise and College of Alameda Fab Lab.  Scholarships will be presented to emerging artists and students from the College of Alameda during the awards ceremony.
Silent auction will include donations of art and maker items, jewerly, sports items, rock and roll memorabilia and gift certificates from local restaurants and busineses.  Raffle prizes include a  new retro bicycle, gift baskets, gift cards and art.
