A civic education program from the National Archives for students in grades K-2!

Teachers and caregivers: this Bill of Rights Day, register your students to be among the first to experience this new We Rule: Civics for All of US program from the National Archives, Make Your Voice Count: Learning About the First Amendment for grades K-2!During this interactive civics program, students will explore the First Amendment in the Bill of Rights using primary historical sources to learn about the importance of rights and how to exercise their freedoms. After registering, you will receive the connection information via email the week of the event.During the webinar, participants’ cameras and microphones will be off. The chat box will be available to share student comments and questions directly with the National Archives educator. Live captioning will be available for this event.

We Rule: Civics for All of US is a new <a href="https://www.archives.gov/education/civic-education" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">education initiative </a>from the National Archives that promotes civic literacy and engagement. Our interactive distance learning programs draw upon the vast holdings of the National Archives to promote the knowledge, skills, and dispositions students need for civic engagement in the 21st century.

Collection of this information is authorized by 44 U.S.C 2104. The information you provide to NARA on this form will be used to manage attendance, registration and communication for and about NARA’s learning program.
