Make Your Own Jam Workshop
Join us for a hands-on workshop where we'll learn how to make, and preserve, strawberry jam!
Strawberries mean it’s summertime in Maine. Learn to prepare and preserve strawberry jam using less sugar with University of Maine Cooperative Extension staff and Master Food Preserver volunteers. We will learn how to safely preserve strawberries using the boiling water bath method. Participants will receive recipes and a jar of jam. Please bring a potholder with you to class.
This workshop will take place at The Pod, the large building at Frinklepod Farm. Weather permitting, we will be outside, but may move indoors if necessary.
