Our classes and workshops are the perfect “unique” alternative to a material gift or “stuff” for any occasion! August is BACK TO SCHOOL month! Learn woodturning basics as you use a wood lathe to turn a custom wooden pen body and pencil body choosing any of our exotic hard wood blanks. Each attendee will make and take home with their own pen & pencil set complete with a case to store them. Class fee includes all materials. This makes a great gift for sending off that special student or for someone at the office! This is a comprehensive 6 hour class with a 30 minute lunch break. All class participants receive a 15% discount on merchandise purchased in the store on the same day of their class. Exclusions Apply. Students should come properly attired for a woodworking class (tight fitting clothing, long hair restrained and constrained from the face); and bring or wear provided industry standard hearing protection and safety glasses during equipment operation. All woodworking classes are held in a store that sells a wide variety of woods, including exotic woods such as cedar, aromatic cedar and other products (e.g., finishes, cleaners, etc.) that may cause allergic or other reactions in a small number of cases.
