Description

Looking for that perfect, one-of-a-kind gift? Why not give the “Gift of Experience”? Our classes and workshops are the perfect unique alternative to a material gift for any occasion! Explore the exciting possibilities of woodworking with the use of technology. Looking for something new? How about a useable wooden goblet to drink from for yourself or others. Take your turning to the next level by turning a delicate wine goblet for all to admire. In this class you will learn how to turn a goblet and how to keep delicate work stable as it turns. The glue up required for intricate designs and the fundamentals of turning on thinner stock. This is a comprehensive 6 hour class with a 30 minute lunch break. All class participants receive a 15% discount on merchandise purchased in the store on the same day of their class. Exclusions Apply. Students should come properly attired for a woodworking class (tight fitting clothing, long hair restrained and constrained from the face); and bring or wear provided industry standard hearing protection and safety glasses during equipment operation. All woodworking classes are held in a store that sells a wide variety of woods, including exotic woods such as cedar, aromatic cedar and other products (e.g., finishes, cleaners, etc.) that may cause allergic or other reactions in a small number of cases. Each student should carefully consider their health and reaction to products around them when signing up for this or any of the Rockler woodworking classes. Considering a 1-on-1 private Instruction?
