Make It. MSP. is the Greater Minneapolis-Saint Paul region's collective effort to attract and retain talent. During each quarter of 2019, a Make It. MSP. team will present a workshop designed to both improve the region's performance and help you drive greater results at your organization.

Join partners in the MSP Tech project of Make It. MSP., including talent leaders at many of the region's leading employers, tech professionals from leading community groups, and a diverse group of partners.

This interactive workshop is designed to help you take away new insights, connections, and best practices while inviting you to contribute to joint efforts. Stay tuned during January for speaker announcements.

8:30 a.m. - Registration: Arrive for check-in, networking, and breakfast

9:00 a.m. - State of the Region: Leaders from the GREATER MSP Partnership and MSP Tech team members will release a new Make It. MSP. Insights report on tech talent and share a new campaign

9:45 a.m. - Deep Dive on Junior Devs: Innovative local programs are enabling more people to enter the tech workforce, but emerging tech professionals and employers still find it difficult to connect. Our MSP Tech panel will include local employers who changed their approach to address market conditions & junior developers who will share their own challenges. Panelists include tech & talent professionals at C.H. Robinson, Granicus, Kipsu, Foodsby, Mpls Jr. Devs & Alchemy.

10:45 a.m. - Solution Fair: During 2018, local partners in MSP Tech designed national efforts to attract tech talent to Minneapolis-Saint Paul and supported existing local efforts to retain tech talent. We will introduce you to these projects and provide you with opportunities to get involved. Partners include Techquity, SciTechSperience, TranscendIT, Twin Cities Startup Week, RecruitVR, and Carlson School of Management.

Make It. MSP. is an initiative of GREATER MSP, the Minneapolis-Saint Paul Regional Economic Development Partnership. During 2018, more than 200 people at organizations throughout the region worked to drive this joint effort to make the MSP region one of the Top 10 performing metros for attracting and retaining talent.
