Gratitude journaling has proven mental and physical health benefits. Join us to learn the most effective practices and to begin your own.

A weekly gratitude journaling practice has proven mental and physical health benefits. In this workshop, we'll be doing a quick overview of the gratitude journaling habits that have proven most effective, and then we'll dig into creating our own. Gratitude journaling can be as simple as writing a list, but for this workshop we'll also be incorporating art journaling elements.Please have the following materials on hand for the workshop:- A notebook that will be your dedicated gratitude journal (we recommend a notebook that will lie flat when opened, but the details are up to you)- Pen and/or pencil- Miscellaneous art supplies of your choice- can include paints, color pencils, tape, glue, magazines and other printed materials for collage, washi tape, photographs, etc.Membership with Mechanics' Hall is free for students and starts at just $50 a year for individual memberships, which includes use of the library, free and discounted access to programs, and much more.
