Make Electronic Music with Ableton Push: session 2
A fun introduction to hands-on electronic music making with Ableton Push. No experience needed! Open to women and girls aged 13+.
Ever wanted to have a go at making your own electronic music? Now's your chance!
In this free introductory workshop you'll have the chance to play with Ableton Push. This user-friendly instrument controls every aspect of Ableton Live, an industry-standard software used for music production and performance.
You'll have a go at finger drumming (hint: FUN!) and create your own beats, bass lines and melodies.
No previous experience is needed; this is a very hands-on, intuitive way to create music and workshop leader Emily will guide and help you.
The workshop is suitable for ages 16+, or 13+ with accompanying parent/carer.
Extra bonus: If you attend this workshop then you'll be entitled to free admission to the TRACKS gig later the same evening.
Please note: The workshop runs twice on Saturday 11 November, for up to eight people each time. Each session is the same and you only need to book one.
This workshop is intended for an audience of women and people of minority genders (e.g. trans/non-binary people). We ask that you respect this when booking tickets and do not deny someone else a place if you are not among this audience.
Workshop hosted by YSWN and supported by One Community Foundation.
