Make Days

Level 5 is a space to explore creativity, innovation and learning in Shenzhen, the Sillcon Valley of Asia.  Level 5 is an initative of International Schools Services, a nonprofit that leads schools, facilitates teacher recruitment and provides best-in-breed learning solutions.

Join us on Thursdays in January and unleash your creativity in one of our practical, hands-on workshops at Level 5.
Be exposed to a range of creative tools and ‘learn through making’ as you tackle a variety of design challenges.  
These workshops are for any individual looking to explore new creative pathways. No experience required, you just need a willingness to have some fun and engage in a bit of hard work!
 
Explore the following:
- <A HREF="http://littlebits.cc/" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">LittleBits</A> prototyping tools
- Wearable technologies, fashion and textiles
- Hardware development with <A HREF="https://www.arduino.cc/" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Arduino</A>
- Robotics construction (<A HREF="http://www.lego.com/en-us/mindstorms/build-a-robot" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">EV3</A>)
- Simple programming techniques
- Construction with tools like <A HREF="http://www.make.do/" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">MakeDo</A>, hot glue guns, staple guns, sewing machines, box cutters and more
 
What is Level 5? 
Level 5 is a new space for creativity, learning and innovation based in Shenzhen, the Silicon Valley of Asia. Featuring a completely flexible design space with the latest in design tools (3D Printers, LittleBits, Apple devices, Makey Makey's and more) Level 5 is the perfect place to unleash your creativity and learn.
 
Dates:
Workshops run from 8AM to 3PM, Thursday’s in January 2016 (14th, 21st &amp; 28th)  
 
Single workshop cost:  850RMB
You can either pay in cash (RMB) on arrival or pay online (USD) using this website.  Invoices and fapiao can be provided at Level 5.

Spaces are strictly limited to ensure a hands-on experience.  
Bring your own laptop if you have one.  Borrow one of ours if you need.
