🍃 Spring Leaf Casting Workshop with Jenny Baxter

Celebrate the fresh energy of spring with a creative, hands-on workshop inspired by the season’s new leaves. Instructor Jenny Baxter brings an inviting, approachable style that makes this class enjoyable for beginners and experienced artists alike.

🌱 Class Description
In this spring-themed concrete leaf casting class, you’ll create one unique leaf casting from start to finish. You’ll also have the opportunity to paint pre-hardened leaf castings, adding your own colors and personality.

You are guaranteed to take home one finished painted leaf, and if time allows, you’ll also take home a second painted leaf. Your freshly cast leaf will continue curing at home, giving you a total of up to three pieces depending on class timing.

Your finished leaves can be wrapped with wire for hanging or display, making them beautiful additions to your home or garden.

Please wear comfortable clothing that can get messy—cement work is hands-on and can be dusty.

🌼 Instructor Bio
Jeanette has spent years exploring the art of cement leaf casting, working with everything from backyard rhubarb to large skunk cabbage leaves. Her castings serve as bird-friendly water catchers, outdoor décor, and indoor wall art when wrapped with wire. She has taught this craft in retreats and small-group settings for many years, sharing her passion for nature-inspired art with learners of all backgrounds.
