This hands-on Make and Take Sewing Workshop is the perfect low-pressure intro to sewing machine magic, guided by expert instructor <strong><strong>Vanessa of Ronkita Design</strong></strong>.</p><h3><br></h3><h3>✨ What You’ll Do</h3><ul><li>Learn the basics of using a sewing machine in a friendly, supportive setting</li><li>Choose <strong><strong>one project</strong></strong> to make at the start of class:</li><li>Small tote bag</li><li>Drink koozie</li><li>Drink coasters</li><li>Practice foundational sewing skills you can build on at home</li><li>Leave with a finished, functional project you made yourself</li></ul><h3><br></h3><h3>🧵 All Materials Provided</h3><ul><li>Sewing machines ready to go</li><li>Fabric, thread, and all necessary tools</li><li>Step-by-step instruction and guidance throughout class</li><li>No experience required. You’ll learn a new skill, meet fellow makers, and head home with something useful and handmade. Grab a spot and stitch something awesome.</p><p><br></p><h3>🌸 About Your Instructor</h3><p>Vanessa of <strong><strong>Ronkita Design</strong></strong> has over 20 years of experience teaching sewing to kids and adults of all skill levels. She teaches locally in Austin and virtually nationwide, is a sewing instructor at Austin Community College, and serves on the Fashion Design Advisory Committee. A full-time designer and seamstress, Vanessa works across fashion, adaptable clothing, wearable tech, decor, and accessories. She also speaks conversational Spanish, French, and Ukrainian, creating a welcoming learning environment for students from all backgrounds.</p>
