Over the course of the session, attendees will be guided through the entire process, from designing the box to shaping, molding, and detailing the clay. The instructor will cover techniques for achieving fine texture, incorporating small embellishments, and ensuring the box's functionality, such as creating a loose-fitting lid. Once the design is complete, the pieces will be fired in a kiln overnight to transform the clay into solid fine silver, revealing a beautiful, handcrafted treasure. The short class the second day will be to polish and finish the boxes. This workshop is perfect for beginners or anyone wanting to explore the art of metal clay jewelry and small object creation.
