About this event

Learn the basics of leather craft by making and taking home your very own Madison Stitch Mountain belt! You'll come to the Madison Stitch leather goods studio in the heart of the arts district in downtown Kansas City, where we'll introduce you to our studio and teach you how to make your very own version of our popular Mountain belt. Local wine will be served.

Frequently asked questions

Where do I park?

We have four parking spots along the street right in front of our studio. We also have exclusive use of the large parking lot directly across from our studio front.

Can children attend?

Yes! This activity is fun for the whole family.

Can we sit at the event?

Yes, we have counter-height stools available to use at our workbenches. Some standing will be required as you work, but there are plenty of opportunities to sit if you need to rest.

Are there other things to do in the area before or after the class?

Yes! You'll be in the heart of the arts district in downtown Kansas City, where all the cool things happen! We can provide you recommendations for bars, restaurants, breweries, wineries, distilleries, chocolatiers, jazz clubs, the list goes on!
