Make A Difference Day, Mālama Heʻeia

Make A Difference Day is an opportunity for the community to come together for the common purpose of doing good and helping others. The goal is to make a positive impact in our local community through service and hope it inspires continued volunteerism throughout the year. This year, Kupu will be hosting Make A Difference Day in the ahupuaʻa of Heʻeia partnering with three local organizations - Paepae O Heʻeia, Papahana Kuaola, and Kākoʻo ʻŌiwi. Each site works with specific areas of the ahupuaʻa, and with a holistic approach this year’s Make A Difference Day encourages the community to “Mālama Heʻeia”

Please note that work at each site will occur simultaneously and your participation should be limited to one specific site, since there will not be transportation between each of the different sites.
