Is there free parking near the Drinking Horn Mead Hall?

You'll find free parking in a small lot just east of Drinking Horn (the lot is shared by several businesses on the block.) Give yourself extra time to find parking. There are metered spots all around downtown but there is also plenty of free street parking just a short walk away.

What is mead and is it tasty?

Mead is honey wine, its origins going back to antiquity. The Greeks called it the Drink of the Gods. Ancient Norse and Scandinavian societies valued mead for its health benefits. Drinking Horn Mead Hall serves a large variety of meads, all incredibly delicious!

Does Drinking Horn Mead Hall serve food or can I bring my own?

Accepted Answer

Drinking Horn Mead Hall has a small selection of tasty snacks (chips) AND you're welcome to bring your own food or pick something from one of the many nearby eateries. Some of them even deliver to Drinking Horn free of charge. The Drinking Horn staff can give you excellent recommendations.

How long will this event take?

Accepted Answer

Plan on approximately 90 minutes. Some crafters can do this easily in in an hour, others may want to enjoy taking their time . You are welcome to stay at the Mead Hall for as long as you wish before and after the event.
