About this event

In the heart of San Francisco's vibrant 1950s jazz scene, "Major Jazz" brings to life the captivating tale of Major Ingram, a talented musician torn between his two greatest loves: his passion for bebop music and the complexitites of his romantic entanglements. Amidst Bop City, Major finds himself entwined with a cast of characters who shape his journey, all while striving to find harmony between his personal desires and artistic ambitions. As the sounds of bebop fill the air, "Major Jazz" takes audiences on a captivating journey through the sights, sounds, and soul of a bygone era, where love and music collide in a symphony of passion and longing. Based on the novel "Major Jazz" also written by Niyah Moore.
