Host & Lecturer bios:
Olive Leatherwood is a source familiar with the matter. Over the course of a decade, she advised executives at a publishing giant headquartered in a really tall building in lower Manhattan, survived global comms at a struggling Canadian luxury multi-brand e-commerce retailer, and managed messaging in state government. She once got Ohio Governor John Kasich to describe himself as "warm porridge" (derogatory) the day before the New Hampshire primary. She has a storied history of being drawn to complicated leaders.
Yang-Yi Goh is GQ’s senior style editor. Since joining the magazine in 2019, he has profiled movie stars and pro athletes, received hate mail for his opinions on sneakers, and snuck objectively too many 2000s post-hardcore references into his work. Prior to GQ, Yang helped found the short-lived (but not forgotten!) Canadian magazine Title, ran the website and style department of Sharp, and began his career as a researcher at ESPN. He is originally from Toronto—a thing he refuses to shut up about—but now lives in Brooklyn with his wife.
Jordan Sowunmi was largely unsupervised as a child. We are living with the consequences.
