Who is the Main Street PD for?

Literally anyone in the education profession. We welcome everyone and find that the personalized component provides relevant resources, ideas, and conversation for any role in education. This can be a media specialist to a principal to a special education teacher to a college professor.

Where is the conference being held?

The Wyndham Lake Buena Vista Hotel is an easy walk to Disney Springs. We have held hotel rooms for our educators with a DEEP DISCOUNT. When booking a room, please tell reservations that you are coming for the Main Street PD (use code MAINSTREET PD).

Can I get credit hours for attending?

How many participants can attend?

We try to keep this event to a small cohort of educators to provide true personalized learning and collaboration. There are 20-25 seats available for this event. If you wish to attend, we recommend purchasing your admission ticket as soon as possible.

Do I have to be a Disney fan or enthusiast?

No. Although this conference is based in Orlando, FL and uses the WDW parks as our makerspace, you do not have to be a Disney fan or enthusiast. We welcome everyone & will use some inspiration from Disney and Imagineer strategies to help participants create ideas, concepts, & solutions to problems.

How much does the conference cost and what else do I need to budget to attend?

A ticket for the conference is $700 + taxes and service fees (roughly +$80) Additional costs that you may consider: Hotel Room ($99/night), $170 EPCOT Ticket, Other Meals, and Transportation.

What do I need to bring?

You and sunscreen. The materials you will need will be provided. If you like to write down notes and thoughts in a specific notebook or device, please bring it.
