We will start with a review of everything you learned in Mahjong 101 (the game, the card, and the rules). Then we get right into practicing playing because it's all about building confidence at the table!

What is Mahjong Social Co?

We are a Mahjong focused community that is based in Western suburbs of Chicago and is led by owner and instructor Lisa Hinsberger. Mahjong Social Co is offering thoughtfully curated beginner and intermediate lessons, private group experiences, social play events, and guided open play sessions. More than just teaching the game, Mahjong Social Co is centered around building connection, fostering community, and spreading the love of Mahjong in a way that feels welcoming, modern, and fun. Each event is designed to bring people together, whether they’re learning for the first time or refining their strategy. The focus is to create a space where laughter, confidence, and camaraderie naturally grow around the table.
